About the Artist
Neil Carroll graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art, where he studied painting and printmaking. Skilled in many disciplines, Neil has been a working artist his entire adult life. He was a landscape designer on Hilton Head Island before moving to Western North Carolina in 2002. Since then, he has been honing his skills as a furniture maker and graduated from Haywood Community College’s Professional Crafts Program in Wood.
Today, his offerings include finely crafted tables, chests, cabinets, benches, and mirrors – handmade from domestic hardwoods and exotics. Neil sources wood from lumber yards and specialty shops, as well as dumpsters and old buildings.
