Mission Console Table

Description

Timothy Livingston is a furniture maker and designer whose work is deeply rooted in the legacy of the early 20th-century American Arts and Crafts movement. What began in 2011 as a personal exploration in woodworking has grown into a full-time studio practice, guided by a love for Craftsman design, traditional joinery, and the quiet integrity of honest materials.

Drawing inspiration from historic makers like Gustav Stickley, Charles Limbert, and Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Livingston creates handcrafted furniture that looks and feels as timeless as the homes it inhabits. He often works with quarter-sawn white oak and reclaimed old-growth lumber—chosen not only for its beauty, but for the history it holds.

Each piece is built to last for generations: functional, enduring, and thoughtfully designed for those who value craftsmanship in its purest form. Whether furnishing a Craftsman bungalow or adding warmth to a contemporary interior, Livingston’s work offers a living connection to America’s design heritage.
