Top of Their Game: Handcrafted Games by Master Makers

This holiday season, Grovewood Gallery invites visitors to rediscover the joy of gathering around the game board with Top of Their Game: Handcrafted Games by Master Makers, a special invitational exhibition on view November 14 through December 31, 2026. Join us for an opening reception on November 14 from 2–5 p.m., free and open to the public.

Featuring handcrafted games by accomplished artists and craftspeople from across the country, the exhibition celebrates the intersection of artistry, design, and play. Visitors will encounter beautifully crafted board games, tabletop games, puzzles, and other interactive works that are as visually compelling as they are functional.

All featured works will be available for purchase, offering the perfect opportunity to find unique handmade holiday gifts.

Far from mass-produced entertainment, each piece is designed to be touched, played, and shared. The works highlight exceptional craftsmanship while inviting meaningful interaction. Some games encourage quiet strategy and contemplation, while others inspire lively competition and conversation—reminding us that play has the power to bring people together.

Top of Their Game: Handcrafted Games by Master Makers will be on view from November 14 through December 31, 2026. This exhibition is sponsored by Metro Wines. Admission and parking are free.

Parking

Grovewood Village offers free on-site parking; however, parking is relatively limited, and carpooling is always encouraged. Additional parking is available in our restaurant parking lot.
