Pink & Green Vessel
Description
This low ceramic vessel by Roycroft Artisan Leslie Green Guilbault features soft pink and green glazes and a series of decorative openings that add texture and visual intrigue. While primarily decorative, the openings allow light to pass through beautifully, making the piece especially lovely when used with a tea candle. When illuminated, the vessel casts a warm, gentle glow that highlights its handcrafted surface.
Guilbault’s work bridges the worlds of craft, nature, and imagination. Trained in pottery at the University of Notre Dame, she later rediscovered her creative spark through an unexpected encounter with natural forms in the forest—an experience that continues to inform her artistic voice. Today, she creates and teaches from her Pittsburgh studio, drawing inspiration from nature, myth, and the enduring ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement.
