Fans of Jaws will covet this fine porcelain mug handcrafted by Asheville-based potter Anja Bartels. Each mug features a scary shark sgraffito design and an interior electric blue glaze.
About Anja Bartels
Originally from Hamburg, Germany, Anja discovered pottery making while living in an intentional community in Virginia. Passion ignited, she returned home to study in the German Ceramics Guild. After completing a three-year apprenticeship with a master potter, Anja received her journeyman ceramics degree from the German Chamber of Crafts and Trades. She is now an artist-in-residence at Odyssey ClayWorks in Asheville.
