This finely crafted toddler rocker by Joe Godfrey is sure to be a treasured keepsake. Handmade in North Carolina, this rocking chair features a carved bunny design, hand-painted to add a playful pop of color. Expertly crafted with mahogany – a hardwood prized for its beauty and durability – this chair is built to withstand the most rambunctious of toddlers. The bunny toddler rocker makes a great addition to your nursery, playroom, or child’s bedroom. Give your little one a sweet seat to rest. You’ll wish you had one in your size!
Joe Godfrey is a retired medical doctor who found a second career making rocking chairs out of his home studio. The son of a talented craftsman, Joe grew up in his father’s woodshop and developed a lifelong love and reverence for wood. Since retiring from family medicine in 2001, he’s honed his skills as a woodworker. Although his work has been varied, he has chosen to focus his attention on chairs, enjoying the challenge of their multiple angles and complex joinery. Joe’s philosophy is that every piece he produces must be of heirloom quality with the expectation of being passed down to future generations.
