Suitable for hot tea, cocoa, or juice, this handcrafted mug by local artist Marissa Domanski is particularly suited to serving whipped cream-topped Irish Coffee.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marissa was born and raised in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Her love of clay began when she took a wheel-throwing class with a wonderful teacher in high school. From there, she expanded her knowledge of ceramics at Alfred University. After graduation, she continued to seek out clay instruction and community through workshops, classes, and studios in Vermont and Hawai’i. She enjoyed sunshine, pottery, and scuba diving in Hawai’i for three years before she and her partner decided to return to the mainland. They settled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. She currently works in her home studio in Weaverville, NC, where she resides with her partner, daughter, and puppy.
