Patricia Cotterill’s Deep Woods painting offers a peek into an almost fairy-tale landscape of trees.
About Patricia Cotterill Patricia was born in a small town in Scotland. Her father served in the British Royal Air Force, so growing up, she lived in cities all over the world. After graduating with a degree in graphic design from the prestigious Lincoln College of Art in England, she worked for an advertising agency. Then she became a display manager for a chain of stores in Southern England. Years later, married with two daughters, she and her husband, Stuart, became American citizens. They now call Asheville their home.
Patricia’s work was selected to be a part of the set paintings for the NBC television show Parenthood and also featured in the book Art for the Traditional Home. In 2015, four of her paintings were purchased for the HGTV series Urban Oasis and were showcased in the show’s home renovation project in West Asheville.
