Win a Lyman Whitaker Wind Sculpture!

In celebration of the 1st Annual American Craft Week (October 1 – 10, 2010), Grovewood will be holding a raffle for a handmade stainless steel Wind Sculpture (Mirinda III) by Utah artist Lyman Whitaker. Mirinda III is valued at $850 and tickets are just $10 each! Shipping charges are extra. Tickets will be on sale September 1st – October 10th. To purchase raffle tickets, please call Grovewood Gallery at 828-253-7651 or visit the gallery in person. The winner will be drawn on October 10th at Grovewood Gallery (need not be present to win). All proceeds benefit CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund) and have been specified for North Carolina artists.

CERF’s mission is to strengthen and sustain the careers of craft artists across the United States. Since its beginnings in 1985, CERF+ has developed a well known reputation in the craft community for the unique emergency relief assistance it provides to professional artists who have suffered career-threatening emergencies (natural disaster, fire, theft, illness and injury).
