Branching Out: Grovewood Turns to Wood Sculpture is an exhibition featuring contemporary wood sculptures by 17 highly accomplished artists. This international selection of artists includes Dixie Biggs, Alan Carter, Jim Christiansen, Martha Collins, Gorst DuPlessis, David Ellsworth, J. Paul Fennell, Michael & Cynthia Gibson, Alan Hollar, Jerry Kermode, Art Liestman, Jim Madden, Alain Mailland, Jim McPhail, Stephen Sanders, & Derek Weidman.
6th Annual Sculpture for the Garden

Opening Reception June 1 (11am – 3pm)
This outdoor sculpture invitational features contemporary sculptures by nationally-recognized artists. Sculptures range from playful pieces suitable for the home or garden, to works for public spaces and corporate settings. Sculptures by local artists Gretchen Lothrop and Stefan “Steebo” Bonitz will also be on display at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and at Biltmore Park Town Square, respectively. Sculpture for the Garden is sponsored by: The Grove Park Inn.

We are planning an exciting display of color in wood with sculptures by 17 highly regarded artists, and The Grove Park Inn will be celebrating their 100th anniversary with fireworks and special events. Join us for the fun and festivities.
