Newman Ceramic Works

Alan and Brenda Newman have been designing and crafting contemporary art pottery from their Oregon studio since 1978. They are known for their functional porcelain which combines botanic elements with sculptural forms. Each piece is made using traditional production methods and their own clay and glaze formulas. Their flowing matt microcrystalline glazes make each piece beautifully unique. Slight variations in color and detail are the result of the handcrafted process.
