About

A popular attraction on the Grovewood grounds is the Estes-Winn Memorial Automobile Museum. Established in 1965, the museum is home to 19 rare and vintage automobiles as well as some original horse-drawn carriages and Asheville’s 1922 Fire Engine. The car museum is located in the historic Biltmore Industries Weaving Shop, which once housed 40 working looms. The cars displayed are especially unique because they have been preserved in their mostly original and running condition.

The museum is free of charge; however, donations in the "Wishing Well" are greatly appreciated and go to benefit several non-profit organizations.

Open Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm.

The museum is closed during the winter months of January - March.
