Grovewood Gallery opened in 1992 to revitalize the Homespun Shops that once housed the famous weaving and woodworking complex of Biltmore Industries. Grovewood is a destination gallery off the beaten path that exhibits an expansive collection of fine American craft in a 1917 English-style cottage. We are located in Asheville, North Carolina next to the world-renowned Grove Park Inn and Spa. The gallery sits on eleven acres of beautifully maintained grounds, on the face of Sunset Mountain, with a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Grovewood displays handmade furniture, garden sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, and more, in a 9,000 square-foot craft emporium. Grovewood Gallery has taken its place as a part of the strong craft tradition of Western North Carolina, and continues its commitment to quality and style. We currently represent more than 500 professional artists and craftspeople from around the United States with a concentration from the Southeast.
Also located on the grounds are Grovewood Studios, Grovewood Gardens, the Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum, the North Carolina Homespun Museum and the Grovewood Cafe. Visitors to our gallery enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant environment in which to make their purchases.
